بررسی پل های چوبی

 

     مقاومت چوب، وزن کم آن و قابلیت جذب انرژی آن، دقیقاً خصوصیاتی است که در ساخت پل به دنبال آن هستیم. چوب دارای قابلیت تحمل اضافه‌بارهای کوتاه مدت بدون دیدن کوچکترین آسیب است. بر خلاف تصور عموم، قطعات بزرگ چوبی مقاومت بسیار خوبی در برابر آتش نشان می‌دهند تا حدی که همپا و حتی مقاوم‌تر از سایر مصالح است.

     از نقطه نظر اقتصادی چه با در نظر گرفتن هزینه‌های اولیه و ساخت و چه با در نظر گرفتن هزینه‌های نگهداری، چوب بسیار باصرفه‌تر است. اجرای پل چوبی در هر شرایط جوی بدون آسیب به مصالح در هر شرایط جوی امکانپذیر است. چوب بر اثر یخ‌زدن و آب شدن‌های پیاپی آسیب نمی‌بیند و در برابر زیان‌ها و عوارض جانبی استفاده از ضدیخ‌ها که بر سایر انواع پل تاثیرمی‌گذارد مقاوم است. پل‌های چوبی نیاز به تجهیزات خاصی برای نصب ندارند و همچنین می‌توانند بدون نیاز به افراد متخصص و ماهر اجرا شوند. علاوه بر این ظاهر زیبا و دلپسند مخصوصاً در محیط‌های طبیعی دارند

هتل برج العرب دوبی با داشتن معماری شگفت انگیز, در خلیج فارس بی همتا می باشد. طرح و نقشه این برج بسیار جالب است شکل آن شبیه یک قایق بادبانی می باشد. در ارتقاع دقیق آن هنوز تردیدهایی وجود دارد اما این طور که از محاسبات بر می آید ارتفاع آن به 332 مترمیرسد. با این بلندی این برج یکی از بلندترین ساختمانهای دنیا محسوب می شود. برج العرب که در زبان عربی به معنای برج عربی می باشد بر روی جزیره ای بنا شده که ساخت دست بشر است این جزیره به کشوردبی بسیار نزدیک بوده به طوری که یک گذرگاه کوچک این هتل را به دبی مربوط می کند. برج العرب آسمانخراش دارای پایه بسیار استواری است چراکه ستونهای پایه آن که در حدود 40 متر می باشند در زیر بستر دریا جای دارند. ارتفاع ساختمان این هتل بیشتر از آنی است که به چشم می خورد . شکل ساده این برج و همچنین طرح دو طبقه آن باعث می شود که این برج به صورت دیگری دیده شود. نمای خارجی برج العرب به گونه ای است که در طول روز رنگ آن سفید براق و درشب ظاهر کاﻤﻸ متقاوتی را داراست.
